This architectural proposal was developed for the competition for the drafting of the basic and executive project for the expansion of l’Escola Virolet, located in the municipality of Sabadell (region of Vallès Occidental, Barcelona). The fundamental objective of the competition is the transformation and expansion of the existing infrastructure for its definitive consolidation as an Institut Escola.

The facility is publicly owned and the competition has been promoted under the supervision of Infraestructures de la Generalitat de Catalunya, acting in accordance with the technical and school planning requirements set by the Departament d’Educació.
